Elevating Military-Connected Lumberjacks
Veteran and Military Services at Northern Arizona University is committed to serving our military-connected students and families with care, professionalism, and respect. This NAU Giving Day, you have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by supporting one of the fundraising priorities below.
Our Giving Day Priorities
Veteran Stole Support:
Each semester the Department of Veteran and Military Services recognizes the great work of our graduating students reaching their educational goals. These stoles are custom made with pride in Flagstaff AZ to honor our graduating veterans. Please consider supporting the stoles we provide to honor our students’ service and academic accomplishment, with a gift to the Veterans Educational Transition Fund of NAU.
Veteran Outdoor Adventure Program:
One of the things that we have seen that help veterans transition into the university is connecting with the outdoors. In partnering with NU outdoor recreation services, the department has been able to build out an outdoor adventure program that connects students with nature and fellow veterans. Please consider supporting this unique and powerful program, with a gift to the Veterans Educational Transition Fund of NAU.
Veteran Student Emergency Fund:
Students face a wide range of challenges as they pursue their degree. Are veteran students face a number of unique challenges ranging from family obligations to unforeseen expenses that come up. These range from unexpected medical bills to auto repairs. Please consider donating to our Veteran Student Emergency Fund to help our students in those unexpected situations.
