The Essential Needs Impact Fund is here to help address these crucial needs, from housing support to emergency assistance, so students can stay enrolled and thrive.

Thankfully, Jacks take CARE of Jacks. Previous donations to the Essential Needs Impact Fund have helped students overcome housing insecurity, access financial assistance, and connect with vital resources. Your generosity this Giving Tuesday will provide immediate support for Lumberjacks facing these hardships, helping them focus on their education and future.

At NAU, Giving Tuesday is more than just a day—it's a movement that empowers us to make a lasting impact on our Lumberjack community by supporting essential needs funds that fuel student success. Coconino Casa for Kids, Inc. agrees with our mission. This year, they are donating $45,000 to the Blavin Bettin Scholars. This generous and transformative gift will be unlocked once we reach $45,000 in donations to any fund this Giving Tuesday.

Jacks Giving Back - Student Giving Challenge
Lumberjacks have hearts made of blue and GOLD and know that a single Axe of Kindness can change a life. This Giving Tuesday, an alumnus from the Class of 2017 has pledged $1000 to the Essential Need Impact Fund in honor of the legacy of Professor Miguel Vazquez, their mentor. This generous gift will unlock once 25 students also contribute to support their fellow Lumberjacks on this global day of generosity. Be a Jack that gives back today!

Lumberjack Class Spirit Challenge
It's time for the ultimate class competition! The Lumberjack Class Spirit Challenge invites alumni from every decade to come together and show their Lumberjack pride. Whether you graduated last year or decades ago, your participation matters. Rally your classmates, make your gift, and help your class rise to the top! Each decade group—spanning from the 2020s all the way back to the 1950s—will compete to have the highest participation and the most gifts raised. The class with the most support will earn bragging rights and be recognized for their unmatched Lumberjack spirit.
