NAU Giving Day 2020

Considering the unusual and unexpected circumstance with the global spread and concern of COVID-19, the NAU Foundation is concentrating its efforts to support NAU students, faculty, staff, and YOU.

We decided to shift this year’s Giving Day to a day of kindness—Axe of Kindness. On April 23, the Lumberjack family will join together to support those who need it most: NAU students, faculty, staff, alumni, Lumberjack first responders, neighbors, friends—the entire community.

Be a Jack who gives back! Giving Day is your opportunity to share uplifting stories that reveal the many ways you demonstrate care and kindness for your community. We challenge you to volunteer in your community, donate blood, send messages of encouragement to the NAU community, support a local business, or donate to a COVID-19 student emergency fund at NAU.

While we know that many of you and others will make contributions on this day, success will not be measured by the number of donors or dollars raised.  Rather, we will celebrate how the entire Lumberjack family has chosen to stand together for something greater and respond to the crisis—with kindness.

However you choose to share Axe of Kindness, join us for the virtual 24-hour Lumberjack commitment to kindness.
