This Giving Tuesday, join us in supporting Louie’s Cupboard, a vital resource for the NAU community. On this global day of giving, your gift can help reduce food insecurity for students, staff, and faculty at Northern Arizona University.
What is Louie’s Cupboard?
Louie’s Cupboard was founded as a student-led initiative to address food insecurity on campus. It all began with a class project focused on social movements, and now, every year, we serve hundreds of members of the NAU community through biweekly food distributions. Whether it's canned goods, fresh produce, meat, grains, eggs, or bread, Louie’s Cupboard provides perishable and nonperishable foods to those in need.
Many students face financial challenges while pursuing their education—struggling to afford textbooks, rent, and often basic necessities like food. Louie’s Cupboard helps alleviate some of that burden by offering groceries and meals to those who need them most.
How You Can Make a Difference:
By making a gift to Louie’s Cupboard this Giving Tuesday, you directly support students who are facing food insecurity, allowing them to focus on their studies without worrying about where their next meal will come from. Every donation, big or small, has a tangible impact on the lives of those at NAU.
Together, we can ensure that every student has the resources they need to succeed. Your generosity on this special day can make a lasting difference.
