Elevate NAU Academic and Workforce Alliances
Elevate NAU Statewide and Regional Program Development

The Statewide Initiatives and Alliances (SIA) department is a pivotal entity within the university, providing direction and leadership in advancing policy and strategic goals related to Statewide and Regional program development and design. SIA ensures that systems and processes are in place to support flexible and market-driven offerings, as well as community college transfer plans, spanning the Northern, Southeastern, and Central regions of Arizona.

The NAU Office of Workforce Development (WFD) is a vital resource within the university community. We specialize in connecting with businesses and industries to provide essential services such as workforce training, tuition partnerships, and academic programs, both for credit and non-credit. We aim to offer students innovative solutions to achieve their academic goals and prepare them for success in the workforce.

Support SIA and WFD on NAU Giving Day!

Statewide Initiatives and Alliances plays a crucial role in the development and cultivation of student and faculty-centric strategic partnerships for the university. These partnerships with government entities, public agencies, tribal nations, and other strategic collaborators are essential for accelerating enrollment, employment, hands-on skill development, and overall student success and experience.

Your support for the NAU Office of Workforce Development Department is crucial in enabling us to continue providing valuable services to students and fostering partnerships with businesses and industries. With your help, we can enhance our offerings, expand our reach, and ensure that students have access to the resources they need to succeed academically and professionally.
