Join the NAU Student Affairs in empowering Lumberjack success this Giving Day. Once 15 gifts are made to Student Affairs funds, we will release a generous collective gift of $2,550 from the Student Affairs Leadership Team. This gift will support students in building community, optimizing wellness, and pursuing their academic and career purpose through donations to: Lumberjack Emergency Assistance Fund, Campus Health Services, NAU Career Development, Northern AZ College Resource Center, Learning Assistance Center, Lumberjack Hair Care, LouieCare, Deborah Harris Scholarship, Campus Recreation-Outdoor Adventures, LGBTQA Innovation Fund, Hispanic/Latinx Student Success Fund, and the First Generation Special Opportunity Fund. Laurie Mittenthal has created a new fund in memory of her mother and alumna, Patricia Hunter Mittenthal, ’89. The Patricia Hunter Last Mile Fund supports currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students who are members of federally recognized Native American Tribes and may be facing unexpected costs or financial hardship in their final year at NAU. She has pledged to release $26,000 to this fund once we receive 15 gifts to any fund for Native Americans on Giving Day. Thank you to Laurie for providing this challenge!
