Empower Lumberjacks with Access to Education

Every Lumberjack deserves access to an affordable, quality education without financial worries standing in their way.

At NAU, we're committed to making college accessible and supporting Lumberjacks from enrollment through earning their degree. Your generosity today impacts critical initiatives like Access to Excellence (A2E), Academic Momentum, Jacks on Track, Team College Bound, and general scholarship support, setting them on a path to success for life. These programs not only provide financial assistance but also foster an environment where students are supported to continue their momentum toward earning their degree.

NAU has positioned itself among the nation’s leaders in making quality education accessible to everyone. As of fall 2023, NAU guarantees tuition coverage for undergraduate Arizona residents with household incomes up to $65,000, applicable at NAU’s Flagstaff and Statewide campuses (online students are not eligible). Additionally, members of Arizona’s 22 federally recognized tribes receive the full benefit of A2E, ensuring equitable access to education.

Today, 97% of NAU students receive some form of scholarship or financial aid, and Lumberjacks graduate with the lowest average debt among public universities—thanks to the generosity of donors like you.

Path to Graduation: Jacks on Track Challenge
This Giving Day, you have the opportunity to make an impact for NAU students. Tim Dwyer, '84, and Tracee Dwyer, ’84, both proud NAU alumni, have generously pledged to unlock a gift of $2,000 to the Jacks on Track program once 5 gifts are made to the Jacks on Track Fund. Jacks on Track empowers stop-out students to return and achieve their bachelor’s degrees by offering financial support to upper-division undergraduate students. This helps ease the costs of tuition and fees, enabling them to stay focused on their path to graduation.
