Support NAU Army ROTC: Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders

Founded in 1997, NAU Army ROTC proudly declares, “We Own The North!”—a testament to our commitment to developing the next generation of Army Officers for the Regular Army, Army Reserves, and National Guard.

The Axe Organization: A Cadet-Driven Program

The Axe Organization is a completely Cadet-led initiative designed to empower our students financially, allowing them to focus on building the skills needed for success in both military service and everyday life. Our Cadets are driven to become leaders who can excel in high-pressure environments, from demanding academic challenges to intense field training exercises.

Your Support Makes a Difference

Your donation directly supports the professional development of our Cadets, providing them with the resources they need to thrive—whether they’re managing events, refining leadership skills, or supporting one another throughout their academic journey.  Please make a gift today!

Thank you!

Thank you for helping shape the next generation of Army leaders by investing in the future of NAU Army ROTC!Cadet group shot with vestsWhy Support Us? "The Proof is in the Pudding."

Our Cadets do more than succeed in the classroom—they represent NAU on the national stage, competing and excelling in ROTC events across the country:

  • 4th Place – Northern Warfare Competition
  • 5th Place – Ranger Challenge

These results highlight the dedication, discipline, and leadership qualities that define our Cadets.

Scholars, Athletes, and Leaders

Our ROTC program offers Cadets unique opportunities to enhance their military skills through prestigious summer training schools, including Air Assault, Airborne, and Combat Diver courses. By earning these elite qualifications, our Cadets not only grow as individuals but also bring valuable knowledge back to the program, enriching the development of their peers and preparing for successful careers in the Army.

Serving the Local Community, Every Semester

Our Cadets are deeply involved in their community, contributing their time and skills to meaningful causes each semester, including:

  • 9/11 Memorials – Professional Color Guard Support
  • Sedona Art Festival – Event Safety Management
  • Coconino & Summit High Schools – JROTC Recruitment and Leadership Development
  • Junior Confidence Leadership Course – Mentoring JROTC High School Students
  • Purple Heart Foundation – Support for Veterans

Our Cadets Aspire to Greatness

NAU Army ROTC Cadets exhibit the mental toughness and physical endurance that set them apart from the average college student. Their resilience drives them to excel in all aspects of life.Cadet target shooting
