A Social Work degree will provides students with the professional knowledge, values, and skills needed to help people experiencing overwhelming life challenges such as substance abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, homelessness, and death, as well as mental, behavioral, and physical illness or disability.
Our faculty and staff are committed to nurturing a vibrant learning environment that empowers students to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Through innovative teaching, research, and hands-on experiences, we prepare students to excel in their fields and contribute meaningfully to society.
This Giving Day, we invite you to elevate what’s possible for our students by supporting key funds that make a lasting difference:
Experiential education is critical for preparing social work practitioners to make a positive impact on their community, the moment they graduate. The Social Work Discretionary Fund will be used to support experiential learning for our students, particularly those pursuing their Bachelor’s in Social Work (BSW) degree, as they work to exercise and refine their skills in real-world environments. Thank you for considering a generous donation to this fund.
Your generosity fuels innovation, access, and excellence at NAU. Every gift—no matter the size—helps create life-changing experiences for our students. Thank you for believing in the power of Lumberjack giving.
