Shrine of Ages Choir
NAU Shrine of the Ages in Argentina: Intercultural Exchange & Choir Festival

Who We Are

The NAU Shrine of Ages Choir is embarking on an incredible intercultural exchange and festival tour in the Buenos Aires and San Juan (Mendoza) regions of Argentina. This experience will allow our talented Lumberjack students to rehearse and perform alongside Argentinian collegiate and professional choirs, including Camara XXI, Coro de Jóvenes LAGUN ONAK, and the Buenos Aires Conservatory of Music. Additionally, the choir will participate in the prestigious “San Juan Canta” International Choir Competition and Festival, a five-day event featuring festival concerts, friendship exchange concerts, social gatherings with fellow international singers, and excursions throughout the San Juan region.

How Can You Help

Your support will empower our students to engage in life-changing activities such as collaborating in rehearsal and performance with multiple Argentinian choirs, participating in collegiate master classes at the Buenos Aires Conservatory or National University Workshop, and performing under the direction of distinguished Argentinian conductors Miguel Pesce, Emiliano Linares, and María Elina Mayorga. Our choral students will also perform in culturally significant churches, concert venues, and museums across Buenos Aires/La Plata and the San Juan/Mendoza region, giving them a deep appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of Argentina.

This intercultural exchange and festival tour will profoundly enhance our students' education by providing immersive, first-hand experiences in choral artistry and cultural engagement. As NAU is a Hispanic Serving Institution, this initiative also strengthens our commitment to building meaningful connections with collegiate choirs in Argentina, creating bridges that foster learning, growth, and understanding.

Thank You

Your generous gift will directly contribute to making this transformative journey possible. By supporting the Shrine of Ages Choir, you are enriching the Lumberjack student experience, advancing their education, and helping them cultivate skills that will resonate far beyond the concert stage. Thank you for being part of this remarkable journey.
