NAMA LogoWE ARE NAMA

NAMA (Northern Arizona Merchandising Association) is a student-run organization where passionate individuals come together to bring fashion to life. We manage various merchandising events, such as SKATE & SHOP, and promote other clubs on campus. Our biggest event of the year is the annual Spring Fashion Show, where students dedicate their time and creativity to developing a captivating experience. Each show features a different theme brought to life through elaborate sets, carefully designed outfits, and engaging performances. Throughout the year, we prepare by organizing vendors, managing finances, promoting events, and recruiting models. Our members gain hands-on experience in marketing, fashion merchandising, and event planning.

Why Do We Need Your Support?
We are raising funds to:

  • Help fund and put on our annual Fashion Show, which requires essential supplies such as:
    • Stage decorations, lighting, and fabrics to create an immersive environment that embodies our theme.
    • Clothing, thrifted pieces, and sewing materials to craft intricate outfits that bring our creative vision to life.
    • Makeup brushes, cosmetic tools, and accessories to ensure our models look polished and captivating.
  • Pay for travel, lodging, and meal expenses to attend Phoenix Fashion Week
  • Pay for travel, lodging, and meal expenses to participate in workshops for the Phoenix Fashion Show, where we can gain valuable hands-on experience assisting behind the scenes and expand our knowledge of the fashion and merchandising industry.
  • Strengthen our presence on campus and establish NAMA as a recognized pillar of the NAU community.

Thank you!

Your generous support would be greatly appreciated and will help us showcase our talents, engage with the community, and build a strong foundation for future generations of NAMA members.

Thank you for believing in our vision and supporting us.

Interesting facts, goals, or unique aspects of our club

  • Our annual Spring Fashion Show is more than just an event; it’s a collaborative effort that gives students an opportunity to express and be a part of something they can call their own.
  • We invite and encourage student designers to participate in our show, allowing them to showcase their own lines and display their work.
  • We are dedicated to sustainability by using reused clothing, borrowing pieces, and repurposing materials.

What is the main purpose of our club?
Our mission is to unite passionate students and provide them with opportunities to collaborate, learn, and express their creativity through fashion and merchandising. With donor support, we can elevate our events, expand opportunities for our members, and continue to be a strong community at NAU.
