Tuba and Euphonium Conference
Showcasing NAU in Spain: The Tuba & Euphonium Studio at ITEA's 2025 International Conference

Hello!

We are seeking support in funding a unique opportunity for a group of talented NAU tuba & euphonium students to attend the 2025 International Tuba & Euphonium Association's (ITEA) International Conference in Valéncia, Spain. This esteemed event is dedicated to advancing the art and practice of tuba performance and pedagogy and offers invaluable opportunities for professional development and leadership growth. A few key ways in which this conference experience will be transformative for our students:

Leadership Training: Through attending the numerous workshops and networking events at the Conference, our students will learn the leadership and collaboration skills necessary to excel in their future careers as performers, educators, and advocates for the tuba & euphonium.

Representing NAU through Performance: While in Valéncia, our students will have the chance to perform in recitals and contribute to workshops while at the conference, proudly representing our university and the excellence of our music program on an international stage.

Engaging in Outreach: Our students, who are very education-focused, are committed to bringing back from this conference the technical knowledge and experiences they gain to benefit the broader music community here at NAU and throughout Arizona. Upon their return, they will be well-positioned to host workshops, masterclasses, and performances that will demonstrate these new ideas and skills to younger musicians.

How Can You Help?

Your support will help cover the costs associated with attending this prestigious event, such as:

  • Airfare
  • Lodging
  • Meals
  • Registration
  • Other incidental expenses

We believe this experience will have a lasting impact on their careers and on the state's tuba/euphonium community as a whole. A gift from you will help make this opportunity accessible to students who do not otherwise have the means to attend.

Thank you!

Thank you in advance for supporting this opportunity and our next generation of leaders in the music community!
