The Dr. Yeon-Su Kim Endowed Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Dr. Kim, a visionary leader in ecological economics and advocate for underrepresented communities in Forestry. Your gift supports students pursuing careers in Forestry Economics, reflecting her lifelong commitment to mentorship, inclusion, and global collaboration.

Wally Covington Student Travel Award

The award supports undergraduate and graduate student travel to conferences, short courses, workshops, and other student learning and professional development opportunities. 

Forestry Faculty Scholarship 

Funds are used to support deserving students in the School of Forestry. Funds can be used for equipment, travel, and other costs in support of student learning.

Laurie Mittenthal has created a new fund in memory of her mother and alumna, Patricia Hunter Mittenthal, ’89. The Patricia Hunter Last Mile Fund supports currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students who are members of federally recognized Native American Tribes and may be facing unexpected costs or financial hardship in their final year at NAU. She has pledged to release $26,000 to this fund once we receive 15 gifts to any fund for Native Americans on Giving Day. Thank you to Laurie for providing this challenge!
