Drickamer-Sellers Legacy Fund

The Drickamer-Sellers Community Project Award provides funding for Honors students pursuing immersive, community-based learning right here in Flagstaff. Recipients partner with local organizations to identify a real community need and develop a meaningful project, research initiative, or service—then present their findings and impact at the end of the semester.

Sheila Gumerman Honors Nursing Scholarship

The Sheila Gumerman Honors Nursing Scholarship celebrates the legacy of Sheila Gumerman, a registered nurse whose fifty-year career in hospitals, rural public health, and senior living communities was defined by compassion, dedication, and service. Established by her family, this scholarship provides funding directly to Honors students who have been accepted into NAU's nursing program, supporting the next generation of exceptional nurses who share Sheila's commitment to caring for others.

The José Ángel Cruz (JAC) Honors Emergency Relief Fund

The JAC Fund provides short-term, emergency financial assistance to Honors students facing unexpected hardships. This fund provides grants to support basic needs such as food, clothing, and essential transportation, helping students stay focused on their studies during challenging times.

Honors Excellence Fund

This fund provides funding for a variety of initiatives within the College, including undergraduate research, capstone projects, and internships.
