Our NAU department is home to four dynamic programs that prepare students for meaningful careers while addressing real-world challenges:
- Geography, Environment, and Society – Offers undergraduate and graduate degrees specializing in Community Planning and Development, Geospatial Technologies, and Human-Environmental Systems.
- Parks and Recreation Management – Prepares professionals for rewarding careers in parks, recreation, and leisure services through both campus and web-based courses.
- Sustainable Communities – Equips students to address the root causes of socio-ecological challenges and contribute to positive change in communities.
- Park Ranger Law Enforcement Academy – Trains students to become natural resource law enforcement officers and police officers.
