The objectives of our plans in Political Science and International Affairs are to provide students with knowledge of the theory, principles, and practice of government and politics at the local, national, and international levels and of the analytic tools in each discipline; to prepare students for occupations in business, government, nonprofit organizations, public relations interest groups, policy institutes, teaching, and law; and to promote liberal education by fostering habits of critical study, clarity of thought, and diligence of research.

Model United Nations
Model UN funds are used to support student travel to conferences around the world, sponsored by universities like The University of Chicago, New York University, Georgetown University, Boston College, McGill University and more. Donations offset costs of student airline tickets, hotels, and registration costs.
Model Mock Trial Program Fund
Model Mock Trial Program funds are used to support student travel to Mock Trial tournaments at the regional and national level. NAU's Mock Trial team has been so successful that they've been invited to take part in high level tournaments. Donations offset costs of student airline tickets, ground travel, hotels, and registration costs.
Master of Public Administration General Fund
Join us in celebrating NAU’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) program—recently ranked among the Top 100 MPA programs nationally and proudly marking its 45th anniversary. As one of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences’ fastest‑growing programs, we continue to prepare the next generation of public service leaders committed to making a difference in communities across Arizona and beyond.
