Our Giving Day Priorities
Wally Covington Student Travel Award
The award supports undergraduate and graduate student travel to conferences, short courses, workshops, and other student learning and professional development opportunities.
Funds are used to support deserving students in the School of Forestry. Funds can be used for equipment, travel, and other costs in support of student learning.
Make a gift to the Forestry General fund in honor of Dr. Yeon-Su Kim on NAU Giving Day:
A gift to the School of Forestry General Fund empowers students and faculty to meet the moment—providing flexible, high-impact support for the school’s most pressing and emerging needs. These funds make it possible to sustain immersive, field-based learning experiences, invest in essential lab equipment, and deepen student engagement through clubs and hands-on opportunities. Just as importantly, they enable faculty to pursue innovative, community-centered research and outreach that respond to the evolving challenges facing our forests and the communities that depend on them.
