NAU Giving Day is an annual tradition of collective impact, when Lumberjack Country comes together to elevate NAU.
Giving Day is May 1, and Early Giving is now open.
We are on a mission to make this our biggest Giving Day yet. New donors like you make that possible.
Make your first gift of $5 or more by May 1 and you will be entered to win an unforgettable NAU Homecoming experience.
What You Can Win
One lucky Lumberjack will receive a Homecoming Weekend Experience in Flagstaff, including:
- Tickets to the NAU football game
- Access to Homecoming events and alumni celebrations
- Travel and lodging support
- Exclusive NAU gear
Ten additional winners will receive NAU Homecoming swag bags to celebrate from home.
How to Enter
You can enter in one of two ways:
1. Make a gift
Make your first gift of $5 or more to any NAU fund by 11:59 PM MST on May 1, 2026.
2. No purchase necessary
Sign up as an NAU Giving Day Champion, share your unique link on social media, and tag @NAUAlumni.
Each method earns one (1) entry into the sweepstakes.
Official Rules & Eligibility
Eligibility
The NAU Giving Day Homecoming Sweepstakes is open to individuals who:
- Are graduates of Northern Arizona University as of May 2026 or earlier
- Are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry
Sweepstakes Period
The sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM MST on April 1, 2026, and ends at 11:59 PM MST on May 1, 2026.
All entries must be completed within this period to be eligible.
Prize Details
Grand Prize (1 winner):
- Round-trip travel support (up to $500)
- Hotel accommodations at the Drury Inn & Suites Flagstaff
- Tickets to the NAU football game
- Access to the Homecoming tailgate and alumni gathering at 1899 Bar & Grill
- Exclusive NAU Alumni gear
First Prize (10 winners):
NAU Homecoming swag bags

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or substituted.
Taxes and Reporting
Winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with prize acceptance. Required tax documentation will be collected in accordance with applicable laws.
Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be randomly selected within seven (7) days following the close of the sweepstakes period.
Winners will be notified via email or phone and must respond within five (5) business days to claim the prize. Failure to respond may result in selection of an alternate winner.
General Terms
By entering, participants agree to allow NAU and the NAU Foundation to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes.
The NAU Foundation reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the sweepstakes if necessary.
This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
