May 1 is NAU Giving Day, when Lumberjacks show up for the scholarships, programs, and support that shape student life.
April 1 is where it starts. Kick off Giving Day season with a full day of Lumberjack pride, campus energy, and ways to Give Show Share. You’ll find games, giveaways, and fun happening across campus as we build momentum toward May 1.
Keep an eye out for Louie the Lumberjack and don’t forget to wear your True Blue and Gold.
The Jacks Line Chip Hunt: Find It. Ride It. Win It.
Location: Jacks Shuttle Line and stops along the route
Time: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Hop on the Jacks Line and keep your eyes open. Hidden chips are waiting at stops along the route and if you find one, you can trade it in for prizes. It’s part scavenger hunt, part campus ride, and all Giving Day fun.
Union Point: Spin, Play, Win
Location: University Union, Union Point (northeast corner, first floor retail dining area)
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Swing through Union Point while you grab food and jump into the action. Take a spin on the prize wheel, test your knowledge with quick trivia, and grab some Giving Day gear including temporary tattoos, glitter and holographic stickers, and t-shirts. It’s a high-energy stop right in the middle of campus.
Starship Surprise Drops: What Will Your Robot Bring?
Location: Campus-wide (Starship delivery zones)
Time: Throughout the day
Order your usual and keep an eye on your delivery. Some Starship robots will be rolling across campus with Giving Day messages and surprise swag. You never know what might show up with your next order.
HRM Former Server Olympics: Balance, Speed, Bragging Rights
Location: HRM Café Courtyard
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Start your morning with coffee and mini scones, then take on the Former Server Olympics. Test your balance, speed, and precision in a fast-paced obstacle course and compete for the title of HRM’s Ultimate Former Server Champion.
1899 Patio Pop-Up: Food, Friends, and Giving Day Energy
Location: 1899 Bar & Grill, Back Patio and Dining Area
Time: Specials all day | Patio gathering 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Swing by 1899 throughout the day for Giving Day specials, then head to the patio in the evening. Hang out, meet Louie, connect with others, and be part of the energy building across campus.
CEFNS Cornhole Clash + Dean Selfies
Location: Science and Health Building Pedway
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Selfies with the Dean: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Grab a partner and jump into a game of cornhole in one of the busiest spots on campus. Between rounds, snap a selfie with the Dean and show your CEFNS pride.
Forestry Field Break: Step In and Hang Out
Location: Forestry Building
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Take a break and stop into Forestry for a laid-back Giving Day moment. Connect with the college, grab some gear, and reset before heading to your next class.
SBS Spin, Pick, Play: Find Us Around Campus
Location: Castro, SBS West, SBS Building (SAS 3rd Floor), School of Communication
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
SBS will be popping up across campus with a prize wheel, “this or that” challenges, and quick games. Stop by, make a choice, take a spin, and see what you land on.
CHHS Spin to Win: Give • Show • Share Challenge
Location: Flagstaff and Phoenix campuses
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Step up to the prize wheel and take part in the Give • Show • Share Challenge. Bring your friends, take a spin, and help unlock a $1,000 Dean’s gift while having some fun.
Cline Library: Study Break, Upgraded
Location: Cline Library Main Lobby
