Elevating Future STEM Educators
The Center for STEM Teaching and Learning (CSTL) at Northern Arizona University is dedicated to strengthening STEM education by empowering educators with the tools, confidence, and curiosity to bring science, technology, engineering, and math to life in their classrooms. CSTL helps spark interest and self-assurance in educators—especially those who may feel hesitant about teaching STEM subjects—by translating cutting-edge research into practical, engaging teaching strategies.
At a time when STEM education funding has been reduced by as much as 75–90% across agencies, this work is more important than ever to ensure educators are prepared to inspire the next generation.
Your Impact on Giving Day
Your support to the Center for Science Teaching and Learning Fund creates a ripple effect that extends far beyond the classroom. Each year, CSTL serves more than 1,000 educators who, in turn, impact over 20,000 students—building curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking skills that are essential in today’s rapidly evolving world. By investing in educator development, you are helping to create a STEM-literate society prepared to navigate and lead through advancements like artificial intelligence and global scientific challenges.
With your help, CSTL can continue expanding access to these life-changing opportunities:
$1,000 Raised can...
- Provide a virtual introduction to emerging STEM topics like artificial intelligence.
$5,000 Raised can...
- Fund an in-person, hands-on learning experience for educators.
$10,000 Raised can...
- Support sustained professional learning with interactive sessions and follow-up classroom coaching.
Your gift ensures that educators have access to the training they need to inspire students and transform learning.
