Elevate the Lumberjack Emergency Assistance Fund (LEAF)
LEAF and the Lumberjack CARE Center provide critical resources to help students overcome unexpected challenges that can derail their education. When you give to the Lumberjack Emergency Assistance Fund, you help ensure Lumberjacks stay enrolled and thrive, despite hurdles they may face.
Your generosity makes a direct impact on student success and overall wellness by:
- Providing vital assistance to combat food insecurity
- Covering unexpected college costs, or
- Connecting students with on-campus services
LEAF By the Numbers
In the 2024-2025 academic year alone, LEAF awarded $62,000 in emergency assistance grants to NAU students facing hardship. This year, we are on track to do the same.
A $500 grant through LEAF can be the deciding factor for whether or not a student stays at NAU.
