Grupo Folklorico Estrellas del Pinar at NAU is a traditional Mexican folklórico dance group dedicated sharing the beauty of dance through movement and music. We welcome students of all backgrounds and experience levels, whether they’ve danced their whole lives or are stepping into folklorico for the first time.
We are more than a dance team. We are a community rooted in unity and tradition. Every rehearsal, every performance, and every step on stage is a celebration of where we come from and who we are.
Why We’re Fundraising
We are raising funds to make sure our dancers can perform with authenticity, pride, and confidence. Your support helps provide:
- Traditional attire, including vibrant faldas, adelitas, botines, ruffle shirts, and team shirts
- The opportunity to attend a national folklórico competition in Texas
- Travel expenses such as flights, lodging, and competition fees
These aren’t just expenses, they’re investments in community building for all and celebration through dance. Every contribution helps our dancers step onto the stage united, prepared, and ready to honor generations of tradition.
