Who We Are
Club Swimming at NAU is a community of college students who love competitive swimming, even if we’re not training at the same intensity level we once did. We come together to practice, improve, and connect with others who share the same passion for the sport.
Founded in 2019, our club has grown every year. We continue to welcome new swimmers while many of our members return season after season to train, compete, and build friendships in and out of the pool.
Some of our members compete against other schools in Arizona, while others have begun traveling to compete against universities in neighboring states.
Our team has already made exciting progress:
- We’ve traveled twice to compete at the College Club Swimming Western Regionals
- Last year, one of our swimmers qualified for College Club Swimming Nationals for the first time
- This year, up to 10 NAU swimmers are expected to attend Nationals, the most qualifiers in our club’s history
We’re incredibly proud of how far our team has come in just a few short years.
How You Can Help
As a relatively young club on campus, much of our funding for competitions, travel, and team gear comes directly out of our swimmers’ pockets. Your donation will help with:
- Travel costs like hotel stays and gas for swimmers attending Nationals
- Team apparel such as shirts and swim caps so we can represent NAU with pride
- Competition entry fees required to participate in Nationals
- Reducing financial stress so our swimmers can focus on performing their best
