Strengthening Science, Together
We are the Biology Graduate Student Association (BGSA), a student-led organization dedicated to enhancing both the academic and social experience of graduate and undergraduate students within NAU’s Department of Biology.
Our club builds community and collaboration through a variety of events:
- Coffee breaks and happy hours for graduate student connection
- Nature walks to encourage wellness and community
- Science on Tap: our signature community science event
- Biology Symposium: showcasing student research
- End of Year Picnic: a celebration of the year’s accomplishments
Through these events, BGSA fosters networking, mentorship, outreach, and joy, making NAU Biology a stronger and more connected community.
Our Mission and Why We Need Your Support
We are aiming to expand our operations, which means we need your support! We specifically want to elevate our events by funding coffee, prizes, and promotional materials for our events both on and off campus.
