Introducing: Hillel at NAU
Hillel at NAU is the home for Jewish life at Northern Arizona University. We welcome students of all backgrounds into our open and welcoming environment.
Our goal is simple: to create a space where students feel comfortable being themselves. Whether someone is deeply connected to their Jewish roots or just beginning to explore them, Hillel offers a place to build friendships, share experiences, and find community.
From holiday dinners to study nights and casual hangouts, Hillel is a place where students can connect, reflect, and celebrate together.
What Happens at Hillel
Hillel is all about creating meaningful experiences and bringing people together. Throughout the year, students can:
- Celebrate Jewish holidays and traditions with shared meals and gatherings
- Participate in community service and social justice initiatives
- Engage in discussions and learning opportunities with guest speakers and cultural programs
- Get creative through crafts and activities, from making clay mezuzahs to painting Seder plates
- Simply relax and connect with friends in a welcoming community space
