Northern Arizona University has long been recognized as a leader in education. We develop educational leaders who create tomorrow’s opportunities, whether students want to be a teacher, counselor, school psychologist, or school leader, one thing is certain: our Jacks are passionate about inspiring others.

NAU Giving Day is a great opportunity to support Arizona’s future teachers! Looking for a way to make your impact? You can make a difference by donating to one of these important funds: 


  • Center for Science Teaching and Learning - The CSTL fosters high quality Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (or STEM) education, outreach, and evaluation. Our team partners with faculty, educators, and the community to provide professional learning and development, collaborative grant development, community programs, educational research, and evaluation and assessment that contribute to high quality STEM education. Donate to the CSTL today to help prepare and support early career science and mathematics teachers and science education leaders.  

  • College of Education Scholarship - create opportunities for future teachers by supporting the COE Scholarship or any of 85+ endowed scholarships that support our students. Close to 300 students were supported through the generous support of our friends and donors.   

  • Early Childhood Education Center - NAU is launching a new Early Childhood Education Center! Designed as a place to train early childcare educators and be a hub for research, the center will also provide exception care for the children of NAU students, faculty, and staff.  For more information about this exciting program, watch Pam Powell’s video above! 

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Work – Please consider supporting the research and the work that faculty and students are doing in the area of diversity, equity and access for all learners. For more information about, watch Clement Lambert’s video above! You may give to this important work by contributing to the dean’s fund and indicate in the memo the purpose of your gift.
