- Lumberjack Emergency Assistance Fund (LEAF) - LEAF helps students facing unexpected financial hardships by providing $500 emergency grants. Completely funded by donors with additional investment from the Associated Students of Northern Arizona University (ASNAU), LEAF has distributed over $500,000 directly to students since fall 2020. Funds are awarded as a grant and do not need to be repaid. Learn more on the LEAF webpage.
- Louie’s Cupboard – Founded and operated by students, Louie’s Cupboard provides perishable and nonperishable food and resources to the NAU community. Many students struggle with the expenses of college. Some struggle to afford books or rent, but many college students face limited financial resources to buy groceries or a meal plan. The concept of a campus food pantry started with a class project geared towards social movements. Now, each year, Louie’s Cupboard serve hundreds of students, staff, and faculty through biweekly food distributions. Learn more on the Cupboard's webpage.
