Looking for a way to make your impact on NAU faculty and staff? You can make a real difference by donating to one of these funds: 

• Santa Sleigh Fund - The Santa Sleigh Fund provides small, one-time monetary gifts to full-time NAU employees facing severe financial hardships or personal tragedies. In the past, it has been used for children’s Christmas presents, doctor bills, cancer treatment, and rent. Though its name suggests gifting money around Christmas time, the fund is available to help employees year-round when funds allow.

• Teaching & Learning Center Discovery Fund - NAU’s commitment to student success requires a parallel commitment to recruiting, developing and supporting outstanding faculty. The new Teaching and Learning Center provides integrated support services and resources that encourage and support faculty success through excellence in teaching and course design. Funds raised will be dedicated towards organizing large-scale events such as Teaching Day (in collaboration with the NAU Teaching Academy), bringing in guest speakers, and hosting book discussions, and faculty learning communities. Give now and have twice the impact! Provost Karen Pugliesi is matching all gifts to this fund up to $3,000.

• Classified Staff Advisory Council Scholarship & Discretionary - Support the Staff Advisory Council and provide book scholarships for NAU staff who are currently enrolled as students at the university. 

• President's Assistance Fund - Provide hardship support for NAU faculty, staff, and students.

• NAU Hope Garden - The Hope Garden will be an inviting place of beauty to inspire hope and healing and provide mental repose in a sustainable, nature-focused environment for all beings. This space will be created to honor and commemorate the burdens we have carried and the losses we have suffered through the pandemic. The Hope Garden will provide pathways to well-being through peace, contemplation, and connection to ourselves, our community, and the world. Give now and magnify your impact - once 25 donations are made to the Hope Garden, a generous donor will give $5,000!

• Construction Management Friends of Faculty Endowment - Established in 2017 by the NAU Construction Management (CM) Industry Advisory Board, this fund supports excellence in teaching, mentoring and research for CM program faculty. The fund supports the cost of faculty research, conferences, training, publications, salary supplements/summer stipends, and travel that help enhance and retain CM faculty.
