SUPPORT FILIPINO LUMBERJACKS
NAU FASA wants to bring awareness of the Filipino Culture to Northern Arizona for both Filipino and Non-Filipino students and will provide opportunities for community members and students alike to experience the Filipino culture through various activities including folk dance, culinary exploration, and customs. We want to unite students by immersing them in a “kapamilya” (family) atmosphere at NAU.
Our organization was founded in 2015 and we would love to expand our reach and grow as a club on campus. Since then, FASA conducts different community service events like street clean-ups and we host different social events to strengthen our sense of community and friendship. Furthermore, our club prides itself on our annual Culture Night event in April since this is when NAU celebrates Asian Pacific Heritage Month. The purpose of this event is to spread the rich history of the Philippines to Flagstaff and for our members to express how much they love our culture and traditions.
We will need all the support that we can get in order for our club to continue its mission and purpose. YOUR donation will help us promote our organization through the use of merchandise such as t-shirts and pin buttons and we will be able to continue to facilitate the events that our club hosts.
