Support NAU Global Brigades Community Development in Honduras

The NAU Global Brigades Club is an international movement of university students working to improve health conditions in a rural community in Honduras.  Donations will help build hygiene stations, a school library, raised garden beds made of recycled plastic and garbage, and installing a well in El Apintal, a rural community in Honduras.

Support first-generation students study abroad

Hundreds of thousands of students from U.S. universities choose to study abroad every year. The Center for International Education has created a new fund that helps support first-generation students to study abroad, providing NAU students access to an international experience.

Advocating Accountability and Ethics for Big Tech: An Evening with Facebook Whistleblower Frances Haugen The NAU Honors Distinguished Speaker Series showcases inspired thinkers from all disciplines addressing issues of vital community interest. The presentations will engage and enlighten students and community members about critical issues facing the region, the nation, and the world. During her time at Facebook as the lead Product Manager on the Civic Misinformation team, Frances became increasingly alarmed by the choices the company makes prioritizing their own profits over public safety and putting people's lives at risk.
