ASNAU Assistive Device Fund
The Associated Students of Northern Arizona (ASNAU) is the undergraduate student government at Northern Arizona University. First organized in 1918, ASNAU exists to be the voice for students at the campus, local, state, and national levels. We believe every NAU student deserves the opportunity to succeed in their education.
After speaking with students about the barriers to obtaining personal assistive devices, ASNAU created a new fund to offer financial support to students needing them. The creation of this fund will provide students with the financial assistance necessary to purchase these costly devices and the ability to realize the positive impact they will have on their education and transition into the workforce.
SUPPORT STUDENT ACCESSIBILITY
ASNAU would like to ask for your help with this project. Gifts of any size will go toward elevating student accessibility at NAU by helping students to secure personal assistive devices such as hearing aids, cognitive aids, and mobility aids. Some funds may also be used to contribute toward evaluations to help students obtain accommodations for disabilities. These gifts will ensure a more inclusive learning environment and success after graduation.
YOUR IMPACT
Your gift today will support an inclusive learning environment, making NAU a more equitable and accessible place for all Jacks. Thank you, Lumberjacks, for your #AxeofKindness!
ASNAU
ASNAU supports the student experience through various events and efforts, including the annual Homecoming Carnival, the Lumberjack Concert Series, funding for student organizations, free legal counsel, free menstrual products in the Union, and more!
