Fraternities and Sororities at NAU provide a social and academic support system designed to give students a well-rounded and enriching college experience.
Lumberjacks connected to these Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) organizations build lasting friendships, gain leadership experience, and learn how to support their communities through impactful service opportunities.
To enrich the student experience and keep FSL members connected to their Lumberjack family and help develop emerging leaders, The NAU Fraternal Education Fund was established in 1996 by NAU staff Rick Brandel and Frank Shushok in partnership with NAU alumni Robert Crozier ’53, Kappa Sigma Kappa Fraternity, and Wayne Connelley ’76, Sigma Chi Fraternity.
Today, Mr. Connelley is challenging all FSL alumni to continue that legacy with a gift to this fund, ensuring an expansion of academic, leadership, personal, and professional growth opportunities for all students committed to the FSL community.
The NAU Fraternal Education Fund - supports FSL student leadership development through events, activities, networking, and connection to the NAU Foundation and NAU Alumni Association. Learn about other resources on the Fraternity and Sorority Life webpage.
